Stats
Fight weight – 57kg

Record – 19 Fights, 14 Wins, 1 Draw and 4 Losses

From being a young talent, Sunny was always eager to fight in the ring. So soon as he turned 18, the legal age required for a person to participate in a full contact sport. Sunny won his first fight by way of a unanimous vote against the 23 year old Nassar Hussain. Sunny has been going on wards and up wards ever since.

Sunny’s first world title fight was against the unbeaten Ricky Ferguson. Sunny won this fight by way of knock out. Sunny’s knock out right hand floored the Irish who fail to make the eight count.

Second World Title – 22nd November 2007 – Venue – Que Club

Opponent – Tamas Dukai – 29 Wins, 1Loss and 14K.O’s

Sunny stopped his Hungarian opponent to take his second world crown in front of a sold out venue and whilst being filmed by the BBC.
Sunny's coach Kash 'The Flash' Gill said "I have followed Sunny's progress ever since he was a boy and I knew that one day he would be standing here with two world titles".

Third World Title – 12th June 2008 – Venue – Que Club

Opponent - Gvido Brencis - 86fights and 76 wins and had never been knocked down.

Sunny, notorious for his slow starts, began the first round with jabs and front kicks, eager to work out his opponent’s style. Brencis came forward with fast, hard combinations, putting Sunny on his back foot and pressuring the champ for the full 2 minutes of the round. It was a tough one to call but it looked like it was going to be a tough night for the Birmingham favourite. Round two and Brencis came forward once again. Sunny looked sharp as he avoided his opponents onslaught. Hira came forward at brencis and caught him with some strong low kicks to the thigh. Hira throws a crushing right hand blow, which makes Brencis hit the canvas. Brencis failed to make the mandatory eight count, this gave the referee no choice but to stop the fight.

With over 15 years of training under his belt, a 2nd degree black belt and a number of years as a Kickboxing instructor, this precision master is not one to underestimate. He feeds on the fear of his opponents and leaves them circling the ring with no hope and a will to escape.

With a host of glorious victories under his belt, Sunny 'The Hitman' Hira is not a featherweight to be taken lightly.
